A couple of hours drive down to the Museum on the Saturday ( I left at 6am ) and I was just in time to see the first of the classic’s arriving into the Paddock.
The cars that stood out for me was a Lancia Stratos, a very cool looking 1961 Abarth Allemano together with a Fiat Dino and the star of the show being the Bugatti Veyron in very striking Yellow and Carbon.
Up on the the banking there was a great show of Alfa’s and Lancia’s including HF’s, Delta Integra’s and Fiat X19’s. There was a particular great show from the Fiat 500 Enthusiasts Club and a worthy mention.
Lamborghini’s were a plenty, Aventadors, Huracans, Miuras and Diablo’s not to mention all the Ferrari’s.
I don’t think i’ve seen so many supercars in one place at one time and the total value of them all must have ran into billions.
The weather certainly helped and the place was absolutely packed by lunchtime.
For me the star car was a Ferrari 250GT, absolutely gorgeous.
A great day and one I’ll be putting in the calendar for next year.
