Easter Sunday and raining, cabin fever setting in, so rather than getting all “The Shining” about it, it was road trip time.
Happily, we end up in Southwold, Suffolk’s stylish market town, famous for it’s sandy beach and rows of brightly painted beach huts.
As we cruised through the busy high street looking for somewhere to park, we rounded the last corner and were faced with rows of Minis parked neatly on the common. I couldn’t believe my luck. It turned out to be the East Coast Mini Club‘s 2016 Run. A Charity Run in Aid of Help for Heros.
One of the highlights for me was an Ex-Works Mini Cooper 275 YYB in very original condition and loads of the car’s history inside (Rally plates, paperwork, helmets etc, even coins found inside).
Here are the rest of the photos. I only had my iPhone so be kind..
