After the success of building the lost Lightweight E-types, Jaguar’s Experimental Shop, based in Warwick, will be building the nine XKSS cars originally lost in the famous 1957 Browns Lane fire.
The XKSS is known as the world’s first supercar and was a favourite of Hollywood actor and racer Paul Newman.
Construction will be faithful to the original 16 cars. Delivery starting early 2017. If you want one and are willing and able to pay the £1 million plus price, it may be tricky, as they are being offered to established collectors and customers.
