I planned to visit London Concours on Thursday but due to a bug caught from my lovely daughter travelling into London wasn’t on the cards. Luckily Friday I was able to man up and soldier in. The London Concours is situated in the City of London’s beautiful, hidden gem, the Honourable Artillery Company. Their immaculate lawns hosting the worlds finest supercars both past and present.
Walking past the impressive main building, down the sweeping stairs to the lawn and being greeted by the magnificent, fire-breathing monster that is The Beast of Turin was a real treat. It did stop there.
There was a great mix of all time favourites and real rarities, the gorgeous AC428 centre above.
Harry Metcalfe’s Lamborghini Countach was showing off Gandini’s design putting the modern supercars to shame. Another of Gandini’s works below, the Miura…
Having said that the Lotus Exige Cup was looking highly desirable.
Off the lawn near the house, there was a grid display of some jaw-dropping endurance racers. The Ferrari F40LM was, well, just look at it, but I really loved the Lotus Espirts.
Some more classics including this stunning AC 428, possibly my favourite AC…
