Last night, Stratstone, at their Mayfair showroom, unveiled their latest acquisition, no less than one of the famous ‘Missing Six’ Lightweight E-Types.
After discovering, in 2014, that only 12 of the originally 18 planned E-Type Lightweights were ever built, Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations division set about building these missing cars, to exact and authentically original specification.
After securing Chassis No. 15 Trevor Finn, CEO of Strastone’s parent company Pendragon PLC said “… We want E-type 15 to be the UK’s E-type and the plan is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to see it in a variety of locations.”
Some footage from Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb a few days before.
So I for one am looking forward to having a close look.
